Hatch Releases “Kavanaugh Facts” Page
Washington, D.C.—As the Senate prepares to begin confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh tomorrow morning, Senator Hatch has released a new page on Medium called “Kavanaugh Facts,” to separate fact from fiction with regard to this eminently qualified nominee.
This will be Senator Hatch’s 15th and final Supreme Court confirmation process. As the senior member and former Chairman of the committee, Hatch has known Judge Kavanaugh for decades, and served as Chairman when Judge Kavanaugh was confirmed to his previous seat on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals. He has written 6 op-eds and delivered 8 speeches in support of Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Hatch also noted that Judge Kavanaugh is perhaps the most qualified nominee he has seen in all his 42 years of Senate service. He urged his colleagues to focus the hearing on the nominee’s qualifications and fitness to serve on the federal bench, not on the unrelated theatrics that have dominated the debate thus far.
